Location of the Ichetucknee River
The Ichetucknee River and Springs are located within the confines of the Ichetucknee Springs State Park, which occupies 2,241 acres in Columbia and Suwannee counties and was established on January 6, 1970.
The park's namesake is a series of freshwater springs that feed 233 million gallons of water daily into the sparkling Ichetucknee River. This river flows for six miles through hammock and swamp before joining the Santa Fe River.
