Just three and a half miles away Anderson-Columbia Company is currently trying to get a permit to build a toxic waste-burning Cement Plant. Despite reports put out by Anderson-Columbia that this cement plant will have very little impact on the surrounding environment, worldwide evidence indicates that the plant will have an extremely detrimental effect on the surrounding environment and especially the Ichetucknee River. |
